.Please Join our BLACK STEM in Philly contingent @ the Juneteenth 2018 Parade! The TC2 Family will be marching as a group in the parade as part of the Black STEM contingent.
On the heels of the Black Panther movie, we have a unique opportunity to market and brand our beloved TechCORE2 STEM program opportunities to Philadelphia during the upcoming Juneteenth Parade on Saturday, June 23, 2018.
Please be sure to bring your Big Smile, wear your TechCORE2 T-shirt and feel free to make a poster to hold up. Additional shirts can be ordered via Shop.techcore2org/store/ Regular $10 / Black Panther $25 (all orders must be completed by 6/5/2018 for delivery by event).
“We anticipate over 3,000 marchers, 12 floats, bands and a host of community organizations. We expect to attract 25,000 people along the parade route. The parade will start out at the Philadelphia High School for Creative & Performing Arts – Broad and Christian St. The Parade reviewing stand will be between 5th and 6th on Market St. and will be televised by ABC TV6 in its entirety. The parade will culminate at Penn’s Landing. The Philadelphia Juneteenth Musicfest and Parade is now proudly a part of the PECO’s Multicultural Series on Penn’s Landing.” – see OVERVIEW MUSICFEST*
